What is so great about this WHITE stuff?

We'll have to try again another day....but his first reaction was, "I don't want anything to do with this junk." He wouldn't touch it, he didn't want to walk in it and he surely didn't want to eat it. (That one was fine with mom)

Welcome....little man.

His first haircut at the salon. I had been trimming it a little here and there, but it was time to remove all that baby fuzz. He wouldn't sit on the chair by himself so he sat on my lap. What an angel! He sat there completely frozen. We had to move his head for him. Bryan wonders if he was scared stiff. I think it had more to do with the sucker he held in one hand and the licorice he held in the other. The faster this whole ordeal moved along, the faster he got that sucker! He knew what he was doing.

It's this one!

So the dreaded phone call came this past Tuesday....."Mrs. Smith, it's nothing serious, BUT, Cassidy collided with another child in phy-ed class and chipped her front tooth." Ok, it's nothing serious, it's not as bad as they first thought...I said to myself. I don't need to do 90mph to get to her. She was doing ok. A little shaken up, but ok. Well, upon my arrival, Cassidy had a meltdown...to be expected. When I finally had a good look, I realize she's missing almost half of her tooth. The good news is the nerves were not exposed and we hope to keep the rest of that tooth. The bad news...we're off to the dentist to see what can be done. After X-rays we are informed the other front tooth has a crack as well. Bummer! However, it did not go completely through the tooth so we are praying it stays in tack for the rest of her life OR until she has her own dental insurance! She now walks around, so proud of her "fake" tooth. Like it was an accomplishment or something!!

Can we do this every night?

I've been inspired! To my family and friends out there blogging...I truly enjoy keeping up with you and your families. I've decided to jump on the bandwagon. I'm not making any promises. I'll do my best to update this on a timely basis. Keep your fingers crossed.

Trick or Treat OR Cheese...... both seemed to bring treats by the wonderful people that provided candy to the youngsters. Trevor couldn't say trick or treat, so he opted for "cheese". Then he would proceed to help himself in every candy bowl. God helps those that help themselves? We'll have to work on those manners. A blast was had by all three. We thought Trevor would tucker out early, but he hung in there with his older siblings. There was no way he was being left behind. Of course, since his candy options are so limited due to his allergies, the older two stepped up and split what was left in his pumpkin. Not that they needed any more.
